Title: Overtime

I'm looking into buying a couple of balls off of some guy on Bowlingballexchange.com and he's got 4 balls I'm interested in buying. The Ebonite Overtime, the Ebonite V2 Clean, the Roto-Grip Retro Red, and the Ebonite Black Ice. I'm looking for a ball that I can resort to that's right under my The One. I'm planning on getting the Overtime and one of the other 3. Which one do you think would fit under The One better?

The overtime will not be under the one.. It hooks more than the one.

In order of overall ball strength, I would rate those balls this way:

Overtime
The One
V2 Clean
Black Ice

Not sure about the Roto Grip ball you mentioned, never heard of it..

I agree w/ jkiser01. Overtime is a stronger ball than The One. Probably cover same amount of boards on medium, but completely differently. In box surface Overtime will start much earlier than The One and arc. The One will get a lot  better length w/ a much stronger move at the break point. Overtime will handle much higher and longer volume of oil. Based on what I've seen VS Clean would fit nicely below The One.

I have a pin up One OOB hole on axis and Overtime pin down under ring cg kicked no hole and they match up very well together.I use the one on the fresh and then go to the overtime when it carries down a bit. The overtime is shined with Factory Finish as well.

That's what I'm looking for a new ball to do for me. I've got The One drilled with the pin just a bit to the left and up from my ring finger. Here's a pic of the drilling when I bought it (fingertips replaced and the thumb plugged and brought up just a little bit).

I don't have the one but i do have an overtime and what they are saying is true. Today i used it on lanes after 16 housebowlers pushed the oil down the lanes for 2 hours, and it was a monster i shot 2's, and it was vicious on the backend. However i will warn you, you have to becareful with the overtime because if you don't pay attention to the lanes, it WILL start up sooner and hook earlier when it hits dry. But overall i give the overtime a 9.7/10. i would give it a 10 but i don't know a ball that has a 10 yet.
