knock off the polished cover. have it hit with a 4000 abralon pad. If the over under continues, try knocking it down to 1000 abralon

MVbowler - Obviously it's tough to tell what your exact problem is with regrads to your ball reaction without being there watching you throw the ball.  If you do have true over/under, meaning that the ball skates too much in the oil left of your target, and the ball overhooks in the dry boards right of your target, I would try smoothing the ball down with a 2000 Abralon.  This level of abrasive has been very successful for me with One series balls.

You can check my website at www.proshoptraining.com to view a One ball that I've done this with.  You'll see that the surface is just slightly duller in finish.  It will smooth out your reaction and make the breakpoint softer.

Good luck!

If it's still giving you this over/under and your playing consistantly then it's probably the ball.

If your going to take it down to 1000 grit then buy some MATTE polish.  Ebonites MATTE poish works great at smoothing out the ball down lane.

It may be a poor layout, or the polish.  A question if you may, Did you try 4000 by rubbing a 4000 grit pad over the polish by hand?  If yes, try a spinner, and more importantly, take the ball down to 1000 to get the polish off and then hit it with the 4000 grit pad.  Wtih a ball this strong 1000 may hook off your hand.  Try the 4000 again with my advice.  If it is very bad try 1000 if better, but not quite as even as you want do your best to get a 2000 pad.  You can get them via an online seller such as buddies.

First of all you dont throw it the same as your buddy.
Second is it drilled the same according to the look of where the pin is or by actual pin to PAP measurements compared to your buddies?
We have a lot of guys that want the pin over the fingers because their buddies is that way and come to find out their buddy has a 5 1/2 axis and the customer has a 4 1/2 axis..this creates big problems that need to be explained to the customer that it looks different it is the same as their buddies for them.
We have had to adjust alot of the covers on angulars for guys that dont have higher rev rates to get them to read properly on THS.
