Cleaning Xxxcel

Would cleaning after every set with rubbing alcohol then with the Ebonite Energizer Ball Cleaner help maintain the performance longer?  If not what should I use?

I think the XXXcel is a great ball.  Not that you asked  Using a spinner, I also use Track's Clean and Dull with a touch of water on a grey scotch brite pad. Then I just wipe the ball off with a clean rag.  But cleaning the ball even before you leave the bowling alley with Ebonite's Energizer never hurts.
