Overtime--Pearl? Not pearl?
« on: March 22, 2006, 10:04:59 AM »
Got my overtime today, and the blue parts look like pearlized. I looked up the overtime and its cover was referred to as phased bomber, but it didn't say pearl.

 Just curious.

Technicall its not a pearl. Its a solid with a phasing to it.
Pearl would indicate a pearl essence additive that would make it more of a true pearl and skiddier.(if thats a word)

I believe it is a solid reactive.  If you put the Overtime next to a Big Time Pearl, you should see a big difference.  If you want a pearl, you may have to revert back to the Showtime series or Prime Time series.  I could be wrong though.

Thanks for the replies!  I have several other pearls already, just thought that the overtime was supposedto be a solid.

I have a fire, ice, and v2sweet. Wanted this to handle a bit more oil.

I believe the Overtime is a solid and trust me when i say it, it will handle WAY More oil than the fire, ice, and sweet. I have/had the sweet and ice, so i know.

If you look real close the ball does have pearl in it.  They can make a pearl using any solid coverstock.

It has the XXXcel cover (Phazed Bomber reactive), and this one's definitively a solid coverstock.

Striaght from my Ebonite contact is it is a Solid Coverstock. I have one and love it. Next to my Big Time and Vendetta Particle, it handles more oil than anything I have.
