Over/Under, as I understand it, is when you're sort of stuck between the two reactions. Say you're going through the head pin, so you move just a little left to keep it in the oil longer, but then it skids to far and misses right. You try to move a little right, and it's right back to going through the headpin. As I understand, it's a problem guys who like to play the track area or outside have, as I have the problem sometimes playing there. Generally, if you swing the ball a lot, over/under is less a problem than it is for straighter shooters.
