Pivot
« on: September 11, 2013, 12:35:20 PM »
Came out yesterday.Shops should have them in today or tomorrow.
This ball is strong.  I changed the surface to 3000, still too strong for me
on our house shot.
Down to 2000 with factory finish, further down the lane, good for a game.
I have low ball speed, Source and Innovate works really well here.
Have you wanted the ball with reaction all across the lane?
The Ebonite Pivot is it.

This ball is amazing, a motion Ebonite fans have been waiting for. And it has great shelf appeal. #bowlitforward

Ball does hook,  that's for sure. I put pin under my middle which made it about 5.5 from my pap. Starts early as the drilling and surface would say,  but the surprising part is the amount of overall hook,  and the amount of continuation.  I'm going to play with the surface a bit to tame it down some,  but really is a great ball.

Oh yeah, and I'm a big fan of the old school E  too.

The ball will hook . I drilled mine pin 3 1/2 in from my pap the pin cg an mass biass stacked . The pivot is clean through the heads . On my house shot when I got the ball out to early it didn't over react but I did lose some energy an left week 10 s . When I was able to keep it in the oil it hit an carried quit well . I will end up with another pivot drilled different soon .

All I can say is "WOW!"  We had one of these sitting around the shop for a couple of months and I got tired of looking at it so I drilled it up today.  Pin slightly above and right of ring finger (3 1/2 inches from PAP), CG in mid palm and MB under thumb.  Reminds me of Shakira - great backend with plenty of movement.  Shot 222, 232, 269 out of the box with it.  (left surface OOB also).  I'd like to tell you how well it carried light hits, but there were none.  Had to move feet 3 boards left (I'm a righty) but once I figured that out, money.  I suspect that I won't be able to use this in my evening leagues, at least much after game 1, but in my AM league, where no one is playing where I do, I never had to move with it once I got lined up.

I'm not sure I'd put one of these in a slower speed player, but for someone with higher speed and revs I'd say get one.

Good rotation on his release, and good backends, strong ball, consistent bowler too.  Makes for a nice looking shot.
