Just Picked Up a Smash Time and Magic
« on: March 26, 2009, 11:53:38 AM »
I know the Magic would go long have a sharp backend, what reaction should I expect from the Smash Time?

The Pearl or solid smashtime?  The solid has particle in it and is very even from front to back on heavy mediums.  One of the smoothest balls I've ever seen.  The pearl smash time is a good lighter-medium oil ball with good length and smooth/decent backend.

If its the pearl, pin up with cg close to the palm.
If its the solid, pin under ring and kick the cg out.
I don't know much about the magic.

Drill the Smash time Solid pin under ring, CG right above thumb.

This ball will be the most smooth, even arcing ball you've ever seen. Guaranteed. Because it starts so early, if you pull it, it won't pick up because of the oil. If you swing it out, it has plenty of time to recover, but it's NEVER jumpy. NEVER.

This ball is absolute sickness. Best control ball ever made. I'm on my second and have a third undrilled under the bed.

Where did you get it (I may want a fourth)?

Its already 2nd drill, and i plugged it, so when i drill it, it'd be it's 3rd drill, i traded an Action Packed with only 6 games on it for the Smash Time and a Strike Zone, and i got the Magic NIB from a JBT raffle from January....

Ah, I see.

Well, if you're not impressed with the Smash time, let me know, and we'll work out a deal even if it is already a 3rd drill. I can't get enough of them, just in case. Ball is amazing.

As far as "kicking the CG out" on it goes, idk. I prefer mine with the CG stacked or even a little left of the pin, rather than right of it.

Either way, I think you're going to end up with an amazing ball. I'll be surprised if you don't like it.
