Playmaker Replacement
« on: March 27, 2011, 03:28:23 PM »
Looking for a ball that will roll similar to a Playmaker. For specifics, I'd call myself a tweener. Maybe around 16-17 mph, 300-325 rpm? My Playmaker is drilled with the pin in the ring finger, CG kicked out to the right and an X-hole low. I have the most success using it from the 2nd game on, playing straighter, standing around 15 going up 8. Very controllable, never overreacts when all of my other stuff wants to hook too much. I've read reviews that the Game On rolls similar to the Playmaker, is this true even though its an asymettrical?

Game On would be the closest from Ebonite. It's a very low strength asymmetric core so the mass bias isnt even marked (so dont judge it a normal asymm ball). A Columbia Burst would work too. It has a similar design.
