Primal Instinct and Killer Instinct sanded... overlap?
« on: July 27, 2004, 12:28:35 PM »
The Ebonite site just states 'new generation' reactive cover.. looking at the specs, I don't see much of a difference.. anyone know what's the purpose for  the Primal Instinct's (not commercially) existence?

Primal instinct core has a lower RG  (2.48 compared to 2.53) and a higher differential (.062 compared to .048). Tweaked core, newer style reactive solid cover, different colors.

Swallowing a quarter is nothing to worry about.....if she craps out two dimes and a nickel.....then I'd worry.

bowling this month says the best thing about the primal is its ability to get down the lane and still have hitting power and it works best in the dry

rated best in the dry condition according to them...and good on mediums

ive never thrown any of the killers...only the illusion... so i have little knowledge about 'em

maybe overlap with the killer pearl?

Erock666 ... I think its the other way around..

which basically brings me back to my original question... overlap.. couldn't you get a KI pearl and just drill it for medium conditons???

I have thrown the killer sanded and the primal instinct.  The killer hooked a lot more and hooked earlier, about 10 boards more than the primal.  The primal gets great length and is very smooth at the breakpoint where the ki sanded was more angular.  Hope this helps.

Don't think they overlap! KIS is Heavy Oil and PI is Med to light. How that overlap?? Forget the numbers man just see if is High/Low Diff.

Ok thanks, seems like if I want the bigger movers, sticking with hte KI is the way to go... buying a medium perfoming ball at the KI's prices (I'm assuming this, as we don't have it here yet I think) just doesn't seem logical.. I could just go to the V2 line and get a medium (relatively speaking) performer there... Anyone see anything wrong with this reasoning??
