Total NV vs The One
« on: January 25, 2007, 05:52:09 AM »
Well, drilled up and used my Total NV last night in league play.  Drilled it up stacked leverage with a small weight hole to keep it legal.  I kept the ball in box condition for its first run on the lanes.  Lanes are guardian, top hat league condition 38-40', 60+ units oil in middle.

I was standing 20, targetting parallel up 7.  This was a bit right then I usually stand.  But 7 is the track area.  For me it was too squirty.  Little too much speed and it missed its breakpoint, miss to the right, and it didn't come back.  The breakpoint was not as defined as some equipment I've thrown like the No Mercy, Big One and The One.

When I got The One during its premier seminar I drilled it the same as above.  I had a much more defined move off the breakpoint and more hook.  I had to stand further left, quite a bit further left, then I did with the Total NV.

The big thing for me will be if this ball lasts longer then The One.  I'm going to take a bit of shine off the Total NV and see what it can do.  We also got a 15lb NV but have not drilled it up.  Perhaps saving it for a rainy day.
