i'm going to change my arsenal from storm to ebonite and i would like some info about ebonite's balls. it seems as though most of ebonite's equipment has a relatively large amount of flare (.50+) so i'd like to know if i might have any problems getting them down the lane with their box finish. are ebonites coverstock's less aggressive than storm's so that the weight block can play a larger part of the ball's reaction? most of the equipment that i use has anywhere from .33-.49 differential and i tend to put my pin 4-5 inches away from my pap. the problem that i have with my storm equipment is that they tend to skid then jump on a THS even though i have forward roll type drillings on them.
last but not least, i have some idea of which ebonite balls would be better for heavier oil but in your opinion would the cross fire and v2 sweet overlap too much on medium conditions? is there a major difference in the type of reaction that they have?
