Title: Question on Pivot Point
Post by: thedjs on August 11, 2015, 05:56:59 PM
Would the Pivot Point compared to the Pivot be like the Mission 2.0 to the Mission 1.0?

Is there a similarity in the Pivot's to the Mission's?

No I don't think so. If I remember correctly the Mission 2.0 had a slightly stronger cover than the original. The Pivot Point isn't as strong as the original Pivot.

From what I've seen and heard from people that have thrown the balls, the Pivot point fits directly in between the Pivot and Honor

Thanks for the reply.  I have the Legacy, how would that fit with the two Pivot's.

I have had all 3 of those and I still throw the Pivot Point.  THey all have different reactions and are designed with different surfaces.  THe Legacy I had went very long and made a very sharp turn on the back end.  The Pivot was very smooth with its OOB surface and ate up the oil.  The Pivot Point is a polished ball and I used it When the Pivot was burning up to store more energy it was a little sharper than the Pivot on the back end.  The Pivot Point is one of my favorite balls.  I currently have in my bags 2 Game breaker2s a Pivot Point a Code of Honor and a cyclone.  For house shots I throw the pion down GB2 to start and then go to the Pivot Point then to the pin up GB2 on the burned up game 3 shot.

Since I have the Legacy, would I really gain much from getting a Pivot Point?  Would it have more back-end or handle more oil?  Also, would it be more forgiving when you miss right?  Thanks for the help.

Yes I used them like that I would start with the Legacy then when the shot would break down I would go to the Point.
