After becoming disgusted with the reactions I was getting from most of my equipment I decided it was time for a change.  After doing a lot or review of the specs. and watching a couple of great You Tube reviews from Chris Hill and Tamer Bowling, I decided on the Destiny Solid and Hybrid.  Since most of the houses I bowl in have either medium of dry conditions I felt that these two balls would cover those conditions well.  Both have the Gamebreaker cover stock which was a big plus in making my decision and they are at a great price point, although this was not a major factor.  I did not consider the Pearl as I have seen this ball in use and I don't like the skid/snap reaction that I saw.  Also, in the Chris Hill video he mentioned that the Pearl seemed to stand up more when he had to move deeper inside.

Now, I am a senior bowler with slow speed but I still can rev. it up a little.  The lane conditions the day I bowled were on the on the lighter side of medium.

My first trial was with the Solid.  I threw a few shots warming up and knew that I wanted a slight surface change.  So I took it in the pro-sop and had the surface changed from 500/1000/3000 to 500/2000.  Did not use it until the second game of league and shot 220+ clean.  The third game was a 215 clean.  Needless to say I was impressed.  Started off standing on 22 and targeted 10 at the arrows.  By the third game I had moved left and wound up on 28 with a target of 15.  The ball got through the heads with ease, revs up in the mid-lane and has (for me) a strong hard arc into the pins.  Both light and heavy hits seem to carry well.  A big factor for me is that the ball never seemed to quit. 

If I had to compare this ball with another I would say it's similar to the Columbia Sideswipe Solid but maybe finishes a little harder.   

Have only thrown the Hybrid a few frames so I talk about it later.  I do, however, have high hopes that it will work well when I have to move deeper inside.
