Recent Tornado's VS. Older Tornado's
« on: April 12, 2009, 05:35:19 AM »
Is there any difference in the more Recent versions than the Older versions?

Below is a couple of links that shows some pictures of slightly "different" cores...... didn't know if it was the same ball with the same Core or slightly different?

The 1st picture shows a larger Disc closer to the surface of the ball:

The 2nd picture shows a smaller Disc that seems slightly farther from the surface (slightly more to the middle of the ball than the 1st picture shows):

Anybody know?

Artistic license?

If the numbers haven't changed the differences between the drawings don't really amount to anything.

The second is just a 3d version with half the filler removed to show the pin. Just newer graphics.

That's kind of what I figured!

Just wasn't sure?

Cores are the same, but two colors have the "F5" or "F7" coverstock which is stronger than the Super Tack they use on all other Tornados.

Another thing that I noticed on Ebonite's site was the RG and RG DIFFERENTIAL on the 15lb Silver/Navy/Gold version was different than the 15lb Navy/Turquoise/Silver version. The RG DIFF for the 1st one is .020 vs the 2nd which is .040:

I'm guessing this is just a misprint by Ebonite?
