The Real One
« on: September 28, 2017, 09:09:10 AM »
Punched mine up for league. Pin Up,  CG kicked out next to thumb. No hole.
Got down the lane really easy. Was looking for a bit more on the backend. Does not
hit for me like Tommy Jones. LOL. But The Real One does hit them pretty good.
My Affinity has a bit more snap.
Will change the surface and punch a hole for next week.
Great shelf appeal and great price. And  1 in 9 chance at getting a ball from the
One Series.
15 ordered, 6 pre sold. This will be  a successful ball and bring back some memories.

Put a light 2000 surface adjustment and a hole, 6 3/4 over , one inch down. The Ball picked up in the mids and really came back. That is the reaction I remembered.

What conditions are you bowling on? Also what are you stats?   Providing this info will help determine what the likely cause is to the lack of backend your seeking.

Out of box surface for me was not good. It pretty much went straight. Hit it with a new 2000 pad to remove some of the shine and the ball came to life. Nice midlane and heavy roll on back end.

1st time using Real One in league and shot 247-234-255  736   Ball does go pretty long before making its move. Pretty close to my Affinity. A touch earlier but a similar shape in back end. Was able to play way out in the dry but liked the reaction. Hooked less then I thought but that can be easily changed. I am going to try it again tomorrow night and see how it goes. Ball really revs up early but doesn't jump off the friction.  Carry was awesome at OOB surface. Fit nicely below my Alpha Crux but above my polished Show Off. Happy with both my Ebonite balls .

For me my Real One was pretty similar to the Mission Unknown but has a little more on the back part of the lane.  For most house shots I see I start with the Gauntlet Fury (a few stronger than my Real One) and use the Real One when the front's start to go a little.  It clears just a little bit better than the Fury.  I also just punched the new Hammer Yell which fits in nicely under both of those balls.  Nice 1-2-3 punch on most house conditions
