Replacement ball
« on: April 21, 2012, 07:57:35 PM »
What's a good ball to replace a Columbia Sharp Noize?  Something in the Ebonite family.

Thanks for the help.

I concur!

I remember the Cool Noize as really looking a lot like the Cyclone movement.

Cyclone.
The Freeze is strong but, based on the one I threw, is too even reacting.

According to BluePrint, the Cyclone is about 2 boards more overall hook and slightly more angular on the backend as compared to the Freeze.

TwoHand,

I have seen lots of Freezes and lots of Cyclones both in real life and on you tube and my impression is the Cyclone is a heavier revving ball than the freeze with more of a slurve than the slightly angular move of the freeze.

There is one heavy handed lefty guy out on you tube throwing a Cyclone and a Victory Nano pearl when you see him throw the cyclone you'd say slurve!

REgards,
