REVIEW:
Basically the layout I was looking for on this ball was
for tournament shots on fresh oil and occasionally carry down
when everything just seems to skid a tad too much. I left
the ball box finish. I placed the X hole in a flare reducing
position as with my slower ball speed dull balls tend to burn up
for me and was hoping this might help a tad bit with the problem.
The condition I did get to try it out on was a 2nd shift house shot.
With this layout the ball did in fact roll VERY early and had a mild
backend reaction. Very clear that on a burnt house shot this would
never work, nor would I expect it to!
>> Second session on Fresh Oil and Clean Backends:
All I can say is wow. Talk about strong off the breakpoint. What
a difference with more head and mid lane oil. Aggressive! Polished
this ball would be a monster on a typical house shot!
Compared to my Angular One
(4-5" Pin, 4" Pin, MB Above Thumb, No Xhole)
This ball does roll about 2-3 Feet Earlier on a fresh shot and is nearly
every bit as angular on the backend.
