Smash Time and TNV
« on: March 15, 2007, 04:25:39 PM »
How does the Smash Time Pearl compare to the TNV? Because my Smash Time is phenominal and if the TNV is anywhere near this ball, I'm thinking about maybe getting one in the future.

I have the STP and the TNV and they both have totally different ball reactions. The TNV is quite a bit stronger in oil and hooks about 5 boards more than the STP.. They are both drilled pin beside ring cg stacked under..

For me, the STP is a ball I go to alot in the 3rd game of league or 2nd shift of league..

They are both GREAT balls and I highly receommend both of them to anyone..

The Whirlwind is going to be much weaker than both the STP and TNV. The weight block in the Whirlwind is a basic light bulb with small flip block and the cover is not that strong either. I am sure thier are some THS conditions out there where it could be used, but for most people, its a ball best suited for drier conditions.

I will agree, the STP is a very strong ball and I have kept mine box finish. The only thing I did yo tweak my TNV, is use a 4000 abralon pad on it to knock the polish off and now this ball is a monstor on THS's..

I apologize for this being a little off topic here, but where does the No Limit fit among these balls?  I threw it at the Demo Days but wonder where it is best suited.  Sorry for the hijack.

I have the No Limit and its actually a very strong ball.. I would says its stronger then the STP and almost as strong as my TNV.. Its more arcy than skid flip like the TNV..

Its a very underated ball IMO..
