smashtime is a great oil ball and can be drilled for a smooth roll very easily..

I think the great slump of 2006-2007 is finally coming to an end!!

I am going to go against the grain a bit here. I am going to suggest the Morich Weapon of Mass bias. It actually should be called the Weapon of mass control. Very predictable and smooth and will handle oil with the absolute BEST of them. One of the smoothest balls around IMO/ Another reason I am recomending this ball is, they are on closeout and you should be able to find one NIB fairly cheap.

That is not a Heavy oil ball and it is not smooth.

Assuming you want an ebonite ball, I'd second the vote for the smash time solid/particle.  Very rolly, smooth and controlled on a higher volume.

For heavy oil, either the BigTime or Smashtime. I have the Bigtime and I took it down to about 600 grit because our house has been putting down a flood of oil whereas I could not get a XXcel box finish to turn more than a few boards. This ball started picking up a little past the arrows and was almost rolling out on a condition I couldn't get my other balls to get into a roll! It's strong.

With some surface change and a control drill, the Inertia could fit the bill.
