Gamebreaker - Raid - Bash solid
« on: November 13, 2008, 05:17:22 AM »
Anybody care to break these down as far as shape and aggressiveness.  Lets say all drilled the same with 2000 abralon.  Thanks for any help.

the gamebreaker is a great ball all around. would be your first ball out on THS. it has a great midlane and strong backend continuation shape. but smooth.the raid im not sure cuz ive never seen it without polish. and same with the bash although the bash will be significantly weaker than the other two

The Gamebreaker will be strong in the midlane with a decent backend move, very smooth. The Bash will give you the same motion as the gamebreaker, just 7-8 boards weaker. The Raid will be a little longer than the other two but will give you a decent move in the backend while being very smooth off of the spot. This is all with them all drilled the same at 2000 abralon. Send me a PM if you have any questions about anything, ill be glad to help.

I have the gamebreaker(500 + polish) and the raid(2K). The gamebreaker has a much stronger backend reaction than the raid but the raid has amuch more added length with an angular but mild continuation.

Does anyone have both Gamebreaker and Pin Slasher. What would be your pro/cons on each ball when compared to each other? I'm looking to make the jump from Columbia equipment to Ebonite. I'm definitely getting the Playmaker and I want another ball to offset that.

I throw a Gamebreaker and my buddy has both, Gamebreaker and Pin Slasher.  IMO the Pin Slasher hooks 3-4 more boards on the same line(THS).  Very similar if not exactly the same shape just more aggressive with the Pin Slasher.  The Playmaker complements both very well.
