Title: Suggestions for a med/heavy oil ball - V2 Strong/R?

As the title indicates, I'm looking for recommendations for a med/heavy oil ball.  Been looking at the V2 Strong and V2 Strong/R.  Has anyone thrown (or seen) and know how much differently they react?  I know one's particle and one's resin.  I'm not sure if the Xcel particle might be a little too much on my house shot.  It's been a pretty even oil pattern lately - not the usual bouncy outsides at most houses.  Also adequate backends...forces you to make good shots (can't really pull or pitch too much or you'll pay)

Any other recommendations?

I have heard the V2 Strong R is a real good ball. I have the XCEL Particle and it really hooks alot. I'm still trying to get used to it.
