I hear a lot of you guys talking about changing the surface on your TNV to basically wake it up. I do believe that I am going to have to do the same thing. I was just wondering what type of change I should make. I am farely new to bowling so I really dont know much bowlers lingo so lets keep it simple please.
Thanks for the help guys

I just used a 4000 abralon pad to knock the hard gloss off. Worked perfectly.

I've used 2000 Abralon on 2 of my 3 Total NVs to create an earlier and smoother breakpoint. I've actually experimented with 500, 1000, 2000, and 4000.

I agree with the rest, 2000-4000 abralon with no polish. The ball will still retain length with a better read.

I like 1000 and brunswick high gloss the best just another option.

I wetsanded mine to 1200 and absolutly love it. It has a strong midlane and still flips on the backend. Dont be afraid to try different surfaces with this ball till you find one you like.

I went with 1500 wetsand (no polish). Love it.

Well the guy who drills all my balls recommended that I try 600 and then polish it. It wasn't too bad but I have only threw it for about 4 games. And I rolled like crap. I was just way out of time. I am going to try it again tomorrow night. I figure I will throw it for a couple of weeks and then try something new.
