Well, because I don't know what the weight block dynamics are in the lower weights, I can't specifically say much. However, I can say that I throw a 14 pound playmaker, sanded down to 2000 Abralon, and it is the first ball out of my bag. No exceptions. This ball is versatile, hits, and gives a great look on both house and sport shots.
I have a high rev rate, so to get the ball to not track over the thumb, it's laid out pin about 1.5 in. above bridge, CG kicked out at about 45 degrees. This ball takes speed, revolution, turn, and tilt changes like a pro. I could not be happier with the ball.
But, as I said, it DOES NOT have the same weight block all the way from 12 - 16 pounds.

For a game based on the principles of science and math, bowling sure does have a bad habit of being illogical.
