Best Replacement for Predator?

Anyone have any good experiences replacing a Predator? What ball in the current lineup most closely resembles the predator?

The predator has the bulb core with flip block, and the only balls in the Ebonite lineup with bulb cores are the Puma and the Cross Fire, none of which fit the bill. If you are talking about he Jungle green one, then The Show Time (sanded and pearl) both had the same core, and could probably work, but both are discontinued.

Looking at the lineup id say that the closest thing is the Big Time Sanded, or possibly a stronger ball would be teh Over Time.

It really depends upon which one you are talking about and what weight you use. If by chance you use 16 you can still get the Jungle Green and Red Pearl, (Buddiesproshop.com).  The red solid will be VERY hard to find new in any weight.  You might be able to find the green or red pearl in 15 or 14 on e-bay.  

As far as a ball in the current line(s).  Nothing has the same core/cover combo, but if I were to recommed a ball I would go with a XXcel or a Big Time sanded (blank and white).

Stepping outside of the Ebonite forum for a second, I'd have to say that Visionary Midnight Scorcher was most like the Predator in ball reaction. Great down and in ball, with a continuous smooth arch, and a mild, but noticeable backend reaction. An older ball than the predator that the folks at ebonite said were nearly identical in reaction despite the particle/resin difference, are the red wolf and red predator.
