What is the difference? i've heard from nothing to day and night. Looking for some input as to what i should get.thanks

Well also the cover stocks are different you have the big one with 11.2 gb and the infinite one has gb 12.1 so a much stronger coverstock. Plus the weight blocks are different as well. The big one has a Centrex Symmetrical Mass Bias core and the infinite one has a the same core but inverted. So yes the infinite one is made for more oil then the big one and it will be smoother off the break point then the big one hope this helps.

The infinite one needs a lot of oil up front.  Really high volumes.  It will expend energy very quickly so make sure there is enough in the heads before using it.  On the flip side, I do have a friend with an elbow problem, and is using an Infinite One two pounds lighter.  He is able to swing it and the ball makes a huge move (21 on the foul line drop zone, break at 8th board).  His IO is a bit polished due to being used a lot (oob was 500).  And this is on long patterns.  Goes to show it all really relative.

But generally speaking, the Big One is really the more versatile ball.  You can sand it down to 500 and it will be able to handle some serious oil.  Think of the Big One as semi auto and the Infinite as an elephant gun (i.e. very specialize)
