Never heard of it, but a V2 core with a pearl GB 11.2 or pearl GBV 12.7 cover would be a nifty idea.

Got to test the Playmaker for No Holes Barred w/ Joey Cerar back in mid-July for the September issue reviews... then Ebonite pushed back the release date a couple of months... so I had to keep things under wraps for a while... but I hated giving the Playmaker back after using it...

If I remember right - and it's been since mid-July since the test - I think it was GB12.1 coverstock - I know it was 4000 grit, with similar core to Gamebreaker... it was the tester's "ball of the month" if we were to have given an award... with every surface and house/PBAX shot (except PBA Shark with A TON of hand, which I don't have), the ball was predictable in reaction, no surprises when you made adjustments for different parts of the lane...

I've got a video of it on YouTube... you just have to find it "in disguise"... as another Ebonite orb...
