« on: March 14, 2010, 04:15:42 AM »
3rd set out with the ball shot 290-258-300 for 848 32-36 strikes.

the carry of the ball is sick! finally beat my high series of 844 from my solid uranium.

thanks doug for trading me this ball for the invasion.

here is a picture of the layout on the mission i shot 848 with:

and i loved that so much i drilled a second one to compliment that one:

how do your missions compare to eachother? thinking about punching out another mission with pin above the bridge. currently have one pin under the ring.

the pin above bridge with factory finish polish lets me play straighter up the boards on a fresh shot were i need to swing my first mission in box finish.

its about 5 boards weaker for me and compliments my original nicely. when the original hooks to much i jump a few boards right and go a little straighter with the pin over.

so pretty much the pin besides finger is medium-heavy and the pin over is a medium oil ball and might soon become my benchmark ball. these balls read the midlane so well for me, and with the continuation through the pins makes it money and wins  me money!

V2 is a great ball..still going strong for me as my TPC warrior, player and shooter..

My problem is with the new covers that absorb oil..

Seems they die and I haven't been able to revive them whereas my other balls have lost reaction and I was able to restore the reaction with an oil extraction. Not so with the new covers..

If you don't care for Ebonite equipment at all why are you in here reading about it? "V2" discontinued. Stinger low flare, did anyone actually drill that ball? I know of 2 people who have now you and I guy I bowled league with about 8 years ago!!!! That ball made them so much money it was discontinued as well!!! The "V2" was good but the weightblock is out of date. That's why it was discontinued.

First of all, all older balls are discontinued.  Secondly, the stinger low flare was a real popular ball. Thirdly, if the V2 weightblock was so out of date, why did they bring it back and have reasonable sales numbers with the gamebreaker, playmaker, and pin slasher?

Just drilled one up Rico for those hard tournament conditions. Ball is so smooth it looks like it is laboring to hook but just powers through the pins anyways.
