Cleaning Mission
« on: November 11, 2010, 11:55:23 PM »
I have a new Mission and Plague and i bowl at a place that leaves nasty belt marks and grime... for years ive used rubbing alcohol to get the marks off then clean it with powerhouse energizer cleaner.... but now people are telling me that rubbing alcohol messes with the coverstock.  I have used this method for years and i never noticed anything really. But if this is true is there a different way i could go about getting those nasty marks off with some household products?  Thanks!

asked a friend who operates a pro shop here in central il for a better way to clean my mission, he gave me this advise and it worked great, empty spray bottle, 8oz of simple green, 8 oz of rubbing achol, fill rest of way with water shake it up use a gray schotch brite. you can take ball back to your desired surface after ie 1000 or 2000 aberlon. by the way gray scotch brite is very close to 1000 aberlon, i tried this with my mission after about 50 games, and it worked perfectly for me.
