Just like to know how many of you here owns this ball and it's still well and kicking...how many games you have put on it already ? And if yours had died, after how many games ? I just got back mine back from the shop as I sent it for oil suction but not too keen to used it yet as I am worry that he will disappoint me... nothing serious, just treat this post as a poll and lets see what figures do we get.....

Mine lost reaction after less than 50 games.
All I had to do was give it a hot water bath and take some surface off, and it hooked more.
Not really a heavy oil ball, more of a medium, but it's back to where it was now.

As for myself, I have this ball for about 5 months and about 150 games on it before I notice that the ball isn't performing as it used to. Instead of hooking, it just gone straight down the lane. Talk to my Pro Shop guy about it and he advised me to have it baked in his shop. I just got it backed, tried it for a couple of games, seems ok and hope it will not die off too fast again.
Really love this ball when it was new, best ball that I have so far and have a best of 279 with it.

Hey All,

I have 2 of these. One since December 05 and one since February 06. I have almost 100 games on the one from December and about 50 on the one from February. I have given both of them the Hot Water Treatment Pail Soaking on 2 separate occassions. These One's are still going strong!

Just remember to take care of the coverstock and clean them as you would any other ball.

I've had my The One since January, and mine is still reacting strong and hitting hard. I'll be using it exclusively tomorrow in the first round of Teen Masters on the Short Pattern they're putting out.

Took mine down to 1000 grit using an abralon pad and applied alittle extender.....nice!

honestly i won my one from joe, and i wanted to see if mine would die on me so i didn't clean it for a week and threw maybe 20 games on it and i didn't lose reaction at all. but to be on the safe side i cleaned it and i had the same pop and reaction. i don't know what to say maybe i got lucky.

if you want a ball to last, make sure you CLEAN it!!! that's how many balls die. As for hot water bath, that might not be too good of an idea because when you soak it the water takes the plastecizer out of the ball and can cause the ball to lose reaction alltogether, ..just my 2 cents .

More on the subject, as for my one I got it used with already 60+ games on it and now it probably has 100+ games on it and it still flips madly. just maintane your equipment and clean it!

Hi Leftehh- LG, that what make me puzzled...I always clean my balls "clean n dull" after every bowling session but it still happened...

I do the same thing after every set on a spinner. Same results! I wonder if different houses brand and type of conditioner that they use has anything to do with it?

I LOVE the Vapor Zone also bro!
Just wish the One's held up better for me. I LOVED the one and Big One when they had good reactions.

I have 100+ games on mine, clean it after every set, have oil extracted at the pro shop every other month and have had NO loss in reaction

That means to say you have to bring the ball back to the Pro Shop for maintenance every two months ? How much do they charge for the oil extraction ?
