I just received and drilled the XXXcel and The One I received from Buddies Pro Shop.  This is a great two ball package.  

The XXXcel allowed me to play deeper through the oil and out to the dry on a house shot with tremendous success.  Ball drilled rev leverage for lower track bowlers. Not flippy but strong.

The One in box condition has tremendous back end when it hits the dry but skids too much in any oil.  It seems to have a little over under.  The ball is extremely powerful.  I might try the ball in box condition a little longer but might take it down to 1000 if I can't get a consistent reaction.  I drilled it as recommended by Chris at Buddies pro shop at 4 and 4 3/4.  The pi wound up under the ring finger and the MB about two inches right of the thumb.  A touch bit more then 45 degrees.  My pap is 4 3/4 and 3/4 up.  Pin was about 3 1/4.

I just went out and cleaned The One with Clean and Dull and an old grey scotch brite pad.  Then buffed it a touch.  Will that help with the over under reaction I seem to be getting with The One?
