big one
« on: May 19, 2006, 07:54:48 AM »
i am very confused . OK no jokes. anyway i have had this ball since jan i guess and at first i was crazy about it and now i am afraid to pick it up . I have cleaned it scuffed it soaked it and for some reason i cant seem to get a read on this ball. i was bowling tuesday night using my wmb standing 20 playing anywhere betweeen 10 and 5 and killing the pocket. shot 234 with 2 missed 10 pins. second game i decided to try the big one since the line was so tight with the wmb ,and the ball wouldnt finish at all . Total hockey puck . I moved right tried to help the ball with more wrist and my best shots were 10 pins. Even when i got the ball to face up flush .Pick my wmb up and strike strike strike. Am i doing something wrong or is the big one too much ball. Or is it just not versatile enough to use on anything other than long heavy oil. Oh yeah i shot 157 with the big one second game . third game 236 with my wmb and phenom unleashed 1-2 punch . shot the last 7 with the phenom when the lanes were to fried for wmb. i dont want to polish the big one, but but if not where do i use it. tried to use it yesterday on the usbc sport shot ,its just way to over under in the oil it was ok but it was so unforgiving it wasnt worth using. had better results woth my global assault.

How do you have these two bals laid out?

What are the surfaceson each ball?

The WMB is a early hard rolling ball that is continuous.

The Big One skids through the front and revs in the mi lanes and has
a hard arc. If the lanes are dry on the back then you can really open up
it up.

my big one is drilled as per drill # 2 on the sheet. wmb is drilled with the pin 1 inch up and 2 inches right of ring with cg and mb in line both have 3/4 weight holes i am no driller so the exacts are lacking
