thousands of games and still going

Why oh why can't ebonite make balls like they used too?

Our THS changed slightly, more carrydown, less backend and generally tough carry for me.  I had been throwing my Visionary Crimson Executioner and Impulse Zone but both were polished and were flaky in the carrydown.

So, I pulled the werewolf out of the basement last monday.  Shot 632, not bad, 709(3 games) and 883(4 game set) on Wednesday, tonight we prebowled for Halloween.  783 with games of 245-290-248, flat stuffed an 8 pin the first frame of the second game.

I would definitely purchase any ebonite ball with the werewolf core in it.

Good for you!  Just because the ball is older does not mean that it is a bad ball, or that it won't work on the right shot.

Yeah, never said it wouldn't.  I am just saying Ebonite doesn't make them like they used too.

The only ball Ebonite has, that I would consider would be the V2 sanded.

I am not an ebonite guy I havn't thrown one for the last 2 years for the exact reason your talking about. I went to one of ebenite showing and they talked about the one. Ebonite claims this ball will last longer then there recent balls. So far since I dilled it I left the cover the same have no complaints about this ball at all. It doesn't like real short patterns. For me it worked better on synthetic lanes. I think you should consider getting THE ONE.
