TNV Coverstock
« on: February 22, 2007, 02:39:33 AM »
Had my ball a week now and bowled about 25 plus games with my TNV and for some reason my coverstock looks awful. I wipe it off before each throw with an oil-free towel and after I'm done bowling I apply energizer cleaner throughly all over the ball but there are still track marks very visible on the ball and in some spots in the track it seems as if the cover has worn down. Help!!!! What proceedures/steps should I take after I'm done bowling to recover the coverstock to original form.  And how do I get it back to original form now?

I would try a different cleaner as there are better cleaners out there than the Ebonite Energizer Cleaner and if the other cleaners don't do a satisfactory job, Track's Clean & Dull-Clean & Tacky will definitely clean the TNV balls.

Why, who said that? also, you should expect on a Ebonite forum that their products would be talked about more than another product, right...eh!

I also use Tracks 'Clean n Dull' and some others and I find they all work really well, however, I choose to use Ebonite's Powerhouse Cleaner as my primary cleaner of choice and I also use their Ebonite's Powerhouse Polish oh! and no one has forced me to use those products.

Nobody directly said it that way but, in various threads around here it is being insinuated that this will keep a ball from dying. Come on bro, read through some of these posts and it will be easy to figure out man. A blind man could see it plain as day. I dont have a problem with Ebonite cleaners or polishes but, I have a problem with people trying to say not using them causes premature ball death. BTW, I use Clean and Dull or Clean and Tacky but, if I need to clean it off quickly, I use Legends/Lanemasters cleaner.

BTW, read my post and digest it so you can understand the true meaning of it the first time. That would be helpful, thank you.
