Had my tnv for about a month now. It has about 75 games on it.
Bowled in a regional and did fairly well, but when I came back to league the ball would'nt wrinkle. I took the ball and put on my spinner to rub it up with some green scotch brite. I went to Morich's website on ball cleaning and followed the cleaning directions. Hot water, dawn dish liquid and a rinse. I put back on the spinner to clean off with neo tac renew it.
Tonight I shoot 279 - 258 - 270 = 807.
I'm a believer in cleaning the ball this way now.

When performing this type of ball cleaning, do you think it would affect an outer switch grip??? Does it have to be dawn or are there others that work well???

Rieck,
I don't think it would affect the grips. I covered my grips(turbo quads) with tape to try to keep the water from filling the holes. You will have some tape residue to clean off if you do this.
It does'nt have to be dawn, it could be ajax, palmolive etc.

Just one more thing, how hot is the water when you said "hot?" Do you mean as hot as the sink will allow or somewhere between there and luke warm? Thanks
