I just wondered if anyone else saw the drilling that he had on a one pearl in the usbc masters. It looked a little like he had the cg above the ring finger, I have never seen anything like this. I have searched around on  the internet, but haven't found anything about this.

he uses trick layouts that work for him. i think its in the total nv video on ebonite.com where they layout a ball like TJ would on tour

I'm curious too. I also noticed the cg was above his finger(s). Maybe an ebonite rep could chime in and explain.

Go to ebonites website and look for the NVS videos. I believe the caption says trick layout or something like that... Basically, it gives you the length by placing the pin way up, but the smooth strong roll because the pin is close to your axis. I liked my Total NV with this layout but it only really shined a handful of times. Might try something like that again....

Do you mean the MB close to the axis? otherwise this makes no sense....

As the pin gets pushed higher above your grips it is also supposed to be 4-4.5 inches from your axis. With a 4 inch pin or so you have a very high pin but it is still only 4-4.5 inches from your axis. The pin up giving it length, and the pap - pin distance giving it that smooth strong read... I believe the mb is at a 90* angle to make it smooth and for me that put the mb at about 6" from my axis. Ball was still very smooth...

Its just static weights gents you just have to make them legal. Its not hard but its best to do the trick layouts with longer pins there for its easier to make them legal. The only time you would use a shorter pin is unless the span your dealing with is a small one. Never the less i've tried a trick layout on an One and an AMF Victory spt,and I love them both..
