Not sure about next but expect the regular NV with a different name and different color in the near future.

Flame all you want..I know its coming from certian posters about the NV remade under another name & color..but just wait and see

If the NV is made under a different name and color, how will you know its the same ball? Yea, they might make a ball close to the NV core amd cover, but that EXACT ball will not be released ever again..

I could be wrong here but this is just my very strong opnion.. Ebonite made a promise to pro shops and distrubutors that this ball would never be released again and that the molds for that particular ball where destroyed..

While this is true, Brunswick never went out and said that they wouldn't be remaking a ball.  Ebonite has stated that this ball was a one shot deal.

Ed Gallagher gave his word that is was a one shot deal, after meeting him and talking with him a few hours total he is a man of his word. Honest upfront guy that really listens to regular bowlers, he has turned around the company with the help of Mr. Hickland.

Mr. Hickland has many new covers and i think they are going the traxion route now and not the oil absorbing route anymore.

I'm not saying that that there will be another ball call NV with the colors black, blue & gold.

What I'm saying is, if they have already put time, effort & money into developing the NV, you really think they will waste it all on only making 288 from it ?

I know they said, "we won't"...but guys this is buiness and anything goes.

If they see money to be made, you think the won't take a jump at it ?

What's more important ?>>>

288 promises & happy customers

or

30,000 new ball sales ?

If they release another ball that outperforms other companies' offerings in the eyes of the bowlers (a la Black Widow) than they will not need the hype/limited edition release of the NV to sell 30,000 balls.

I agree with mrbowlingnut,

I believe Ed is a man of his word and the NV will not be re-released in any way..

As far as them spending all the time, money and effort on the NV, thats not a big deal to them. They have several balls just sitting in the warehouse just waiting to get released. One ball is no big deal to them..
