Total NV Surface Change

OOB the Total NV is 4000 with polish (correct me if im wrong) i seem to be getting some weird pin action with my ball hooking so late that i leave alot of pocket 7 - 10's and getting the ball to far right it comes back so hard leaving me 2-8-10's. If i miss a little left it hits flush maybe a little high it leaves a 9 pin. What surface change can i make to still have it go long and strong but not as long as it is now

Try bringing it down to just 4000 grit abralon first as that will take the shine off of it and make it turn in a little sooner and it will still have a nice wicked turn in the dry.

I have 2 TNVs, 1 with the TJ layout, 1 with drilling #1 on the sheet.  With both OOB, i had nearly the same reaction.  The TJ layout was maybe 5 feet longer, but a little more back end, so it evened out.  I took my #1 layout to 4000 abralon without polish, & IMO these balls REALLY compliment themselves now.  My #1 drilled TNV hooks at least 5 boards more than my polished TNV.


IMO if u dont really want that much mroe hook, but just slightly more roll, i would go 500 abralon, or 400 paper + polish.  That should get the ball into a slightly earlier roll, & be a little less sharp off the break.
