Title: TPC Player vs Raid
Post by: LuckyLefty on October 24, 2008, 12:49:46 AM
I've read all the reviews on the Player and believe I have a feel for it!

I have also seen the Raid on the Lanes and loved the look.  Also understand that the Raid is a slightly lower flare version which I believe to recreate the look I can just slightly weaken the pin position.

So is it just the coverstock that is the difference?

Any staffers or bowlers out here that have used both and have some opinions?

REgards,

PS the house I am bowling in is wet and a pretty reactive wood top hat!  Bouncy house shot!

Got to throw the right handed drilled player a little bit yesterday.

Really like the roll of this dull ball.  Can see the difference in the cover stock between what I have seen of the RAID but this is a good solid ball with it's own performance.

Again...anyone ever used both ?
