Looking for an offical answer from ebonite.
« on: October 30, 2008, 02:52:48 PM »
Ok i have subscribed to the online proshop news letters and searched the internet.

Someone give me a reason why there are online proshops selling NVD for 110-120? the min price on this ball was over 130USD.  It was only released in august, and i can understand a ball not selling well. But, come on its out less than 3 months. Brunswick atleast waited 6 months before dumping furys and fury pearls after there releases. And most distributors still have fury pearls in stock.

This just completely underminds ebonite price minimum requirements. What a joke, so much for trying to stablizing the market.

Bowlersparadise.com is selling Gamebreakers and Playmakers for 79.99.  That's insane!  And that's just a start of the price drop in equipment over there.  At the rate things are going, pro shops would be saving money stocking from some of these internet vendors over our usual distributors.

i have made numerous posts about this as well. Their pricing is a joke if they can decide to pull the plug on it at anytime, even if proshops are stuck with balls after they have bought into it. You have an NVD you paid whatever for when they came out, now you can buy them cheaper online than you can from a distributor, and add your markup. How in the blue hell are you supposed to ever get rid of your inventor without losing money?? Brunswick was bad enough, but there is a new leader in the club house!!
