V2 clean drilling
« on: August 04, 2004, 12:18:54 PM »
Ive read the reviews and this ball is great but the only thing Im worried about is that if I get it drilled to have a mild reaction, will it not rev up and hit like a turd.  I turn the ball pretty well with mostly forward roll and good speed,  I just want this ball to not overreact but still have some energy at the pins.  Would anyone have any reccomendations on how to drill this up to get what I want.

Thanks

I have mine with a pin-out of 5" CG mid span slightly to the right, pin to the far right and slightly above ring. Goes very very long then makes a huge move. While not everyone is going to use such a far-out pin placement, for me it works wonders. I think this ball can be drilled aggresive and not have najor issues. It carries like crazy. Usually, the first ball out of the bag. I have the V2 strong drilled the same pattern, and I have a Sweet on order, same Pin. Can't wait to try that one.
