Ultimate Angular One
« on: June 03, 2011, 04:04:31 AM »
Anyone gotten one of these yet? If so how did you drill it and what kind of reaction did you get? What were your thoughts about the ball? Looks like mine will be delivered today and will be getting in drilled tomorrow. Just wanted to get some thoughts before I get mine drilled. Still thinking about how I will lay it out.

I just got this drilled today. We drilled it similar to the drilling #2 that came with the ball. I normally don't make judgment of a ball after the 1st time I bowl with it. I only bowled 1 game with it after warming up using my normal ball. I cant really complain bowled a 264 with 11 out of 12 stikes. Everytime I hit the pocket all the pins fell. The only miss is when I missed my mark by 8 boards left and went through the nose for a 3 6 9 10. The ball has really good length and hard backend movement. I cant wait to throw it in my league tomorrow night.

I posted this in another U.A.O. thread...  just wanted to share the same on this kick a** ball here too..

So, I was one of the fortunate ones to get  my hands on this ball.  I am telling you now, if you don't have one, get  one!  Rudy at CBPS in Pooler, Ga. drilled me one today, and let me tell  you...  I have never been so stoked about a ball since the Burgundy  Hammer release in the early 90's!

This ball is  just awesome.  I uploaded two videos tonight to YouTube.  One of them is  me sending to the ditch.  When the ball made its break, it was  absolutely crushing when it got to the pins.  The continuation was  phenomenal.   I bet it was still attacking pins before entering the ball  return shoot!!!

Get one before they are gone...  then you can post up here how impressed you are.

Nice video Rev and can you post a pic of the layout? How close would you say this was to the Angular One? Thanks, Bruce

Bruce,

I think this ball has a good bit of similarity to the Angular One.  I loved the Angular One, but this ball really kicks it's ass to be honest.

I implore you to give this ball a rip.  It is worth the money, which for being a limited edition piece, is incredibly fair.  You will see that it is every bit of high performance and hitting power that we all hope every new ball we drill will deliver.

Hope that helps, and if I will have a pic of the layout I used up as soon as possible.  My equipment is not with me at the house, so when I get to it tomorrow, I will upload it here.  Feel free to shoot me an email to rcg1277 at gmail.com and I will send you the pic directly!

any of you pick one of these up yet?

This ball worked great out in Reno...  My spare shooting on the other hand left quite a bit to be desired.

I can't wait for winter leagues to get started again.  The house I bowl at for my summer league is apparently boycotting lane oil.  Not happy about that.

I'd love to hear some more stories of people who gave this monster a shot!

Cliff Barnes Pro Shop has some left, but they are selling down quickly!

I have one. I really like the ball reaction this ball gives me. On the THS at my house I leave a lot of 10 pins with it. I make small adjustments but nothing seems to help. Most nights I use my 250k during league.  I think this ball will be good on tournament shots where the heads start to go.

It is about 4 boards stronger then my 250k  but goes longer. It is very angular just like the name says it would be. :)

I have thrown a lot of high performance equipment from most of the major ball manufacturers, and I will tell you now, nothing hits harder than this ball.

Ball is very very angular and it will cause you to leave a lot of strong ring tens. Customers who have had this issue we have hit it with a 2000 abralon pad very lightly and it gets it to set up a touch earlier and doesnt send the 6 around the 10 as often.

We still have 12 left if anyone would like to order one. We can do paypal, CC over phone or you can purchase it on our website securely. Thanks www.cliffbarnesproshop.com

Hi guys, i am looking at this ball. Loved my the One Pearl till it died. Now looking at some balls which can replace it. Please help me should you have the answers to my following qns. thanks! =)

Is the Ultimate Angular One a pearl or solid?

Is there an official site that states the specification for such overseas releases?

The Ultimate Angular One is a pearl and will be very close to the One Pearl but a little more angular. We only have 3 left in 15 lbs - visit our website for a video www.cliffbarnesproshop.com. thanks
