Complete NV for Lefthanders
« on: March 25, 2008, 09:05:09 AM »
I was thinking of drilling up a complete NV but I haven't seen anyone throw one that is left handed. Is there any lefties out there that have drilled it up and had some sucess with them. Also how did you lay it out, just out of curiousity.

Thanks,
Jimmy

I drilled mine up almost stacked with the PSA around 45 deg. I like the reaction, but I think this ball is more suited for when they are a little tougher. The few shots I have thrown on the house shot are not as impressive as the read I get with it on the USBC National shot or some PBA patterns I have been practining on. Also, it is a pretty good comedown ball off the Roto Grip Cell, as when that ball starts to get there too quick, not much of a move to get back into a shot with this ball.

I'm glad I decided to drill this one up, earlier this week I had a nice set with a Cell 300, 300, 829 I recently drilled up. And now on Saturday I had a nice set with the Complete NV that I drilled up. 7 Gamer, started with the Cell and shot 190, but I knew this ball wasn't good enough to score on the pattern, so I switched to the Complete and my look got a lot better, going 290 - 275 - 222 - 300 - 259 - 234. Not bad for the first time out with the ball as I just got it drilled up on Tuesday afternoon. I glad I didn't listen to the hype in this area about the NV line being for right handers only.

The layout I went with was kind of a stacked layout with the PSA about 45deg. What I get out of the ball is a lot of length, but the only time I have used it I was playing the oil line and not letting the ball flip too much in the backend. This ball and the Cell should be the only 2 balls I will need for the next few months before I kill them.

Funny post...

By the way for Joe JR....those are the sharpest finger holes ever seen!

Do you bleed daily or just on bowling days???
