As was stated above, I have used it several times myself, and it really does seem to work for me. I tried the hot water bucket method on an INFERNO, but got no results until I ran it through the dishwasher, then it sprang back to life.
Also, ONCE, I had a ball that was TOTALLY DEAD, and NOTHING seemed to work. So, having NOTHING TO LOSE, I left the ball in the car under a dark colored towel ( to block direct sunlight ) and washed it every evening with a STRONG degreasing agent. After 5 days it stopped bleeding, so I made sure it hadn't been softened by the degreasing agent, then had it resurfaced. The ball was perfect, but I would'nt recommend the method I used here unless it was an absolutely LAST RESORT, because the heat could've cracked the ball and the degreaser could've softened it if over-exposed to it. The ball in question was going to be a total loss otherwise, so I had nothing to lose by trying it.

Let them drip dry afterwards and I did notice a big difference after the cleaning.--------------------

We recently sold our home and bought another and unfortunately, it doesn't have a convection oven, so I don't know what I am going to do now. I have never seen any positive results with the hot water method and I am unaware of any revivors in my area.

As far as the plate racks they should fold down out of the way with most modern dishwashers.
I was doing the dishwasher method until the proshop opened in our center now I use the Revivor method.
