V2 Dry
« on: August 06, 2003, 02:04:04 PM »
Thinking about getting one of these for the house i bowl at. Lanes are always very dry, usually oiled very short with minimal oil/units,  and the flying backends are extremely tough. The best balls i have for dry at the moment are the hex drilled with a 2" pin, pin a 12 o'clock cg below, and a 2" flame drilled label lev.

I love the hex but i find this ball to be huge (bigger than i thought) this to me is a definite med oil ball. The flame gets good length but playing outside can jump to much on the backend, can work inside but carry can be a problem and the ball doesn't seem to swing very well, plus the hit isn't always there.

So i  was thinking about getting a V2 Dry with a 2-3" pin drilling it the same as the hex. With this i was hoping to be able to get more hit and carry than the flame and be able to swing the ball and play down and in better. Does the V2 Dry hook much more than the flame too?

Cheers
