Title: V2 Particle Question........

I know this ball is listed as having a load low particle resin coverstock.

Even though this ball is a few years old, how well do you think it handles heavy oil and carry down?

since it is a low particle cover its not a ball for very heavy oil. But if use sand it it maybe will be better. I think the ball can handle som carry down.

Depends how you drill it. Drill it aggrssive.

How about a pin under ring fingers with the cg kicked out and x-hole low?

Have a burgundy scotch brite pad surface like 400.

i dont agree to go with what is said above. For super heavy with carry down dont use the XXcel. By no means is that ball ment for a flood...in fact ebonite dosnt have a flood ball. What ive heard and seen, for a heavy condition go with the xcel particle all the way

Inverted 1: Which V2 did you get from me? The V2 Particle or the V2 Sanded?

I just got a Big Time and debating if i should keep it or not. If i drill it the same as my V2 Particle i wonder how big of a difference i would see?

Comparing the Big Time to the V2 particle drilled the same with the same surface prep will give you a more defined move on the backend, more of a flip move, and will also handle more oil than the older V2 particle.

I drilled the Big Time last night. I put the same layout
i had on my V2 Particle. Pin under bridge with the CG
kicked out 2 inches with a x-hole down low.

Test was on wood lanes freshly oiled. 5 and out OB, 5 to 10
a little light, middle with a good amount of oil and the backend clean.

I polished the ball with a light coat of reactive shine. The ball revs up right off my hand very good. It has a good midlane roll and nice continuous hook in the back end. From wet to dry and back this ball hits like a truck.

I am very impress. I always wanted to try an Apex Adrenaline when it came out but i never got a chance. With this core and a light load particle cover, it definitely fits well on med to heavy conditions. With heavy oil i think adjusting to OOB cover will be sufficient.
