My Specs are in my profile.
When drilling this ball up, I needed something that I would be able to play fairly straight with since playing straight was one of my weaknesses at the start of the summer. Since the start of the summer I've been getting alot better due to alot of practice on playing direct and on the extreme outside of the lane(3-2-1 board). I opted on this type of drilling:
http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/wOTk0OTc3NnM0MTNkZmQzMXk1NDE%3D.jpgFor me that is a 4 inch pin to PAP placement. No weighthole, and with the block in a high-R.G. position I get alot of push up the lane, no matter how dry the track area is and a smooth roll to the pocket.
This ball suprised me alot. What I expected was something I could go direct with and see some angularity at the break point, but instead it is so extremely smooth off of the breakpoint in box finish(I've now polished it with Ebonite Extender polish and it's even smoother). I can now play burnt track areas with this ball and it makes for a great transition ball when the track area starts to burn.
This ball reacts very similar to my old V2 with polish, even though specs would indicate otherwise. It's not quite what I expected after the drilling but I am very satisfied with the reaction and carry of the ball. It's not the most powerful piece in the bag, but it is something I can play with confidence on medium-light conditions and when I have to go more direct to the pocket.
Video......coming soon.
