The big difference is the amount of hook the v2 power has. I don't remember off hand if the rg is lower on the v2 power but it sure does roll like it is. It rolls heavier and when the ball makes its move, its very strong. Not like the v2 sanded where its smooth. My v2 power was drilled to flip really hard, and it does just that.
On the pattern I bowled on and in practice, the v2 power was hooking overall the same as the xxxcel xxcel xcel particle, just the angle to the pocket was different.
For lane comparison v2 power, was standing 38, throwing over 21 20 out to 10 and crushing the pocket very hard, a lot of 9 pins.
The v2 sanded I was standing 24 23 throwing over 18 17 out to 10 coming in flush.
The 2 balls are layed out close, pins above fingers, cg down and to the right, only the v2 sanded has a weight hole because the cg is lower than the midline. Hope this helps.
