V2 Power some bowlers can really
« on: March 09, 2006, 12:30:55 AM »
Make this thing look good.  Though this ball was not universally praised!

Yesterday a guy in our center with a strange but very effective release for our center....made this thing look spectacular...like why does he ever use anything else!

HE is a high tracker with a 4 1/4 pin to pap.

Boy did he make this ball sing!

i had a V2 sweet and i loved it. I thought about getting a V2 power, but i ended up getting a scorchin instead. i am still thinking of getting a power though, they look good. i watched my coach throw his and he shot a 299 striaght out of the box. . .

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.

I've had a good deal of success with my V2 Power.  That ball just READS the lane right away.  I have problems when the head oil drys up, though!

I have 2. One drilled for good midlane read and the other for length and hard arc. Love them both.

Yes he got some wonderful length (good tilt and speed) and a real hard charging arc!

He's pin over ring and cg slight kick and weighthole DOWN and on VAL?

Yours Orkfay?

One is pin under bridge stacked. The lonf one is 4 1/2 X 3 with high pin and a hole 2" below pap and a little past val, pitched 1" away from palm and 1" towards thumb. 2 ounces of finger weight and 1/2 oz positive side for finishing weights.

There's 4 , here. # look really good, one is a bag of crap. I think this is another ball that just MIGHT not work for everyone. Might sound strange, but I stilol think there are balls that just don't work for some people...JMO

they had a ebonite demo day over summer around late august or so, this was one of the balls that they had with to test.  This ball unfortunately on the lane condition put out by the center did not match to well but when in the pocket carried very well, i personally liked the xxcel over this ball but when it got to the pocket it hit good.
