I bowl on a medium oil condition and have a 220 avergae. Does anyone have experience with either of the balls? I currently use a Vortex Pearl

The clean will go longer than your pearl and come off the dry pretty hard. The V2 sanded is an early rev heavy roll ball. A lot depends on you set each up and the conditions you want to match up to. I bowl in pretty heavy oil so the sanded works well. Medium oil can go either way. The clean will be more snappy than the sanded. I would probably say the faster you throw I would lean to the sanded and some polish. If you throw slower go to the clean. What type of hook shape are you trying to get?
