Xcel Reactive....what's the problem?
« on: February 04, 2005, 11:10:59 PM »
I see that some internet sites and distributors have already put the Reactive Xcel on special.  I am just curious, what's the problem with it?  I understand the shell is giving people some problems, has anyone tried sanding the factory polish off and repolishing it?

could be a few reasons.

the Xcel particle is more of the consumer's favorite between the 2.

they have a new XXcel coming out.

people dont want to spend that kind of money on a ball that didnt receive good reviews.

i dont think there is a problem with the ball, i think if drilled properly and the surface of the ball matches up to the condition bowled on, you will be impressed.

Not sure if the Pearl is aggresive enough for people.

As long as you take the surface off of them when you get it, then bring it back to your liking, it works really well.

It hits VERY hard, but make sure you put an aggressive pattern in it.
